Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series POP UP PARADE is releasing a new product based on the popular anime 'NieR:Automata Ver1.1a'—the '2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B)' non-scale pre-painted figure, with a suggested retail price of 5,500 JPY, scheduled for release in November 2024!
The TV anime 'NieR:Automata Ver1.1a', which began airing in 2023, is produced by A-1 Pictures and is an adaptation of 'NieR:Automata', a spin-off from the 'Drakengard' series developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix. One of the three main protagonists in the work is YoRHa No.2 Type B (abbreviated as 2B), whose name's 'B' stands for 'Battle'. She is a YoRHa combat android, possessing silver-white hair like other YoRHa-type androids, a calm and collected personality, exquisite combat skills, and an indomitable will.
This POP UP PARADE 2B non-scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 17 cm tall, showcasing a vigilant pose as she looks back. The sculpting captures the intricate details and folds of her Gothic attire, while the flowing movement significantly enhances the overall visual dynamism. The glimpse of her fair thighs and black stockings subtly revealed by the skirt's slit further highlights her captivating charm, a blend of strength and beauty!
Fellow toy enthusiasts can also display 2B alongside the simultaneously released '9S (YoRHa No.9 Type S)'. It looks like you'll have to collect them as a pair!
