In addition to the officially opened for pre-order "2B" and "9S" from the affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" by Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY, the unpainted prototype of the third product from NieR:Automata Ver1.1a, "A2 (YoRHa Type A No.2)", has also been revealed for the first time. The release date is TBD.
A2 (YoRHa Type A No.2), one of the three protagonists, is the prototype combat android for the current YoRHa units. Years ago, A2 participated in the "Pearl Harbor Descent Operation" alongside the Resistance leader, but ultimately became the sole survivor and an abandoned unit, never returning to the despised Bunker. Having recognized the truth early on, A2 has always been alone, living with a casual, aloof, and silent demeanor, yet also possessing a gentle side willing to sacrifice for others.
"POP UP PARADE A2 (YoRHa Type A No.2)", like the previous two products, is sculpted based on the anime version's design. From the currently released prototype, it can be seen that A2 displays her character charm with a cool, backward-looking pose, holding a Type-40 Tactical Sword. The detailed costume design and body curves are also sculpted, making the painted version highly anticipated.
