Japan's MEGAHOUSE toy company is releasing a new product based on the popular manga "The Allurement of 2.5 Dimensions," serialized on Shonen Jump+ – the "Liliel" 1/7 scale pre-painted complete figure. It has a suggested retail price of 22,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2024!
"The Allurement of 2.5 Dimensions" is a manga by Yu Hashimoto, serialized on Shonen Jump+ since 2021. An anime adaptation produced by J.C.STAFF is also set to begin broadcasting this week! The story follows Masamune Okumura, the sole member and president of the school's manga research club, who has no interest in 3D women and only loves 2D female characters. One day, a junior student who loves cosplay, Ririsa Amano, comes to the club, dressed as Okumura's favorite character, "Liliel," and asks Okumura to help her shoot a photo CD. The 2.5-dimensional allure, existing between 2D and 3D, begins to shake Okumura's convictions!
This "Liliel" 1/7 scale pre-painted complete figure stands approximately 24 cm tall. It is sculpted to capture Ririsa Amano's appearance during her very first Liliel cosplay in front of Okumura, creating a slightly shy pose with her hands gently placed on her chest and behind her hips.
