Following the release of "Sesshomaru," Japan's Furyu Corporation (フリュー株式会社), a company with diverse entertainment businesses, is once again launching a new product under its affordable TENITOL figure series, featuring the classic anime "Inuyasha." The new item is the "TENITOL Inuyasha: Kagome Higurashi" pre-painted figure, with a suggested retail price of 6,380 JPY, slated for release in January 2025!
"Inuyasha" is a manga series created by Japanese manga artist Rumiko Takahashi, which was adapted into a TV anime by Sunrise in 2000. The story follows the protagonist, Kagome Higurashi, who is dragged into a dried-up well at a shrine by the demoness Mistress Centipede, transporting her 500 years into Japan's Sengoku period. There, she encounters the half-demon "Inuyasha." Later, she befriends a host of companions, including the monk Miroku, the demon slayer Sango, the two-tailed demon cat Kirara, and the young fox demon Shippo. Together, they embark on a journey to confront their arch-nemesis Naraku while searching for the shards of the Shikon Jewel.
The TENITOL Kagome Higurashi figure, standing approximately 18 cm tall, is sculpted in Kagome's iconic sailor uniform from the series.
