From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS' character figure brand "Figuarts ZERO," the "EXTRA BATTLE" series, which combines dynamic character poses with elaborate effect parts, is releasing a new "Naruto Shippuden" themed product: the "Uchiha Obito - Showdown with a Former Friend -" pre-painted figure. It will retail for 11,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in December 2024!
The showdown between Obito and Kakashi appeared in "Naruto Shippuden" Episode 595. When Kakashi, empowered by the Nine-Tails' chakra, was about to use Kamui to destroy the Ten-Tails, Obito stopped him, and they both entered the Kamui Dimension for an intense battle. To break free from the cursed seal Madara placed on his heart, Obito allowed Kakashi to pierce his chest with Chidori, subsequently becoming the Ten-Tails' Jinchuriki.
This "Uchiha Obito - Showdown with a Former Friend -" pre-painted figure stands approximately 21 cm tall, faithfully recreating Obito's appearance during the Fourth Great Ninja War, clad in his blue robe. It meticulously sculpts the black blade on his palm and the shackles extending from his body, originally connected to the Uchiha fan. The intricate paintwork highlights Obito's Rinnegan in his left eye and Sharingan in his right eye. The base features the tilted, blocky ground of the Kamui Dimension, with dust effects at his feet extending into the slashing effect in front of Obito. When paired with the "Hatake Kakashi - Showdown with a Former Friend -" figure, releasing the following month, you can recreate this fated duel!
