Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS' popular die-cast toy METAL BUILD's new spin-off series "METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE", today officially announced the full details of its latest product from the "CODE GEASS" series, "GUREN -PURE ELEMENTS GUREN-", scheduled for release in March 2025.
The mysterious Knightmare Frame Guren appears in "CODE GEASS: Rozé of the Recapture's" subsequent story, "CODE GEASS: Shinsei no Armaria". It is a jet-black KMF that was further modified and enhanced based on the "Guren LDM", a replicated unit created after stealing development data for the "Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. Eight Elements". This unit features a head resembling the Gawain, a flight backpack combining hover flight and energy wings, and its right arm is equipped with a rotary special armament that can switch between three functions: steel claws, MVS sword, and radiation wave mechanism.
The "METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE GUREN -PURE ELEMENTS GUREN-" is a modification of the previously released Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. Eight Elements, retaining its heavy-feel die-cast movable frame, flexible joint design, and intricate exterior armor sculpting. The unit features a brand-new color scheme across its body to reproduce Guren's characteristic black base with vibrant accents, and utilizes numerous new parts to recreate its distinctive features such as the Gawain-like head, flight backpack, and right arm armament.
The distinctive "ARMS" armament on the right arm not only reproduces the rotary mechanism from the setting to switch between three weapons, but each weapon also features its own articulation or deployment mechanism, allowing for the movement of fingers and claws, and the deployment of the internal MVS blade. The new flight backpack, developed by combining two technologies, features a deployment mechanism that allows the wings to open, revealing the internal energy wing effects. Additionally, accessories include the "MVS" and "Hien Souga" originally used by the Guren S.E.I.T.E.N. Eight Elements.
