Japan's KADOKAWA's figure brand "KDcolle" is releasing a new product to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the original light novel of the anime "Accel World" – the "Kuroyukihime Original Version 15th Anniversary Wedding Dress Ver." pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 19,800 JPY, with an estimated release in March 2025!
"Accel World" (アクセル・ワールド) is a light novel series written by Reki Kawahara and illustrated by HIMA, which was adapted into a TV anime by Sunrise in 2011. The story is set in 2046, a world where everyone uses the terminal connection device "Neuro-Linker" (ニューロリンカー). One day, the protagonist Haruyuki Arita, who is constantly bullied, suddenly receives an invitation from the student council vice president Kuroyukihime, embarking on an adventure to battle with super-high-speed thinking in a game called "Brain Burst."
This "Kuroyukihime Original Version 15th Anniversary Wedding Dress Ver." stands approximately 16 cm tall. Based on an illustration by the original artist HIMA, it depicts Kuroyukihime-senpai kneeling on the ground in a black wedding dress. The skirt is made of translucent PVC material, with delicate lace patterns intricately sculpted, and the subtly visible leg curves add visual richness to the overall design! Her hair faithfully recreates Kuroyukihime's iconic "cockroach antennae" hairstyle, flowing smoothly and dynamically along the edges of the dress, paired with a slightly bashful expression – truly captivating!
