The SD Gundam plastic model 'BB Senshi' series, released by BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division in Japan, has announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory", the "Stardust Memory Set", scheduled for release in January 2025.
The 'BB Senshi' series is a long-running Gundam model product line that has been continuously sold since 1987, featuring mobile suits from the "Gundam" series rendered in a cute, approximately three-head-tall SD proportion. The name 'BB Senshi' originated from early products that had mechanisms to fire BB pellets and toy missiles. Although these features were later abolished due to revisions in Japanese toy regulations, the name has been retained to this day, and with advancements in manufacturing technology, it has evolved to include rich play features such as transformation and combination.
The newly released "Stardust Memory Set" will re-release previously launched 0083 mobile suits, including a nostalgic set of "193 Gundam GP01Fb Full Burnern", a set of "202 Gundam GP02A", a set of "207 Dendrobium", and a set of "224 Neue Ziel", allowing model enthusiasts to revisit the product designs and classic aesthetics from over 20 years ago.
