TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, following the popular articulated figure series "S.H.Figuarts" release of "Yusuke Urameshi," has once again announced the latest second release from "Yu Yu Hakusho": "S.H.Figuarts Younger Toguro 100%"!
The popular antagonist Younger Toguro from "Yu Yu Hakusho" is a B-class demon with muscle enhancement abilities. Fifty years prior to the events of the series, he was both a martial arts partner and lover to Genkai. However, after experiencing the tragedy of his dojo disciples being brutally slaughtered by the demon Kairen, Younger Toguro, unable to avenge his disciples, realized the powerlessness of the human body and the limitations of life amidst guilt and regret, leading to a change in his personality. Subsequently, he killed Kairen in the Dark Tournament and became champion, wishing to be reborn as a powerful demon that would not age, becoming an even more evil existence in order to eradicate evil.
"S.H.Figuarts Younger Toguro 100%" will be commercialized as an articulated figure in his berserker form, when Younger Toguro was pushed to his limit during his battle against protagonist Yusuke in the Dark Tournament, absorbing the ki of the demons and humans present, unleashing his 100% power! At this point, Younger Toguro's muscles are so enhanced they are like rocks, disfiguring him. Eerie muscle textures cover his entire body, giving him an overwhelming presence! More detailed product information will be released later.
