Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya, to commemorate the fantasy strategy RPG "Unicorn Overlord" developed by VANILLAWARE surpassing 1 million units in global sales, today for the first time unveiled two new "Unicorn Overlord" scale figure products currently in development: the supervised prototypes of "Scarlett" and "Eltrinde". The physical prototypes will be exhibited at 'MegaHobby EXPO 2024 past to the future' held on September 28th.

"Unicorn Overlord" continues VANILLAWARE's exceptionally excellent 2D art design, building a fantasy world with stunning high-resolution illustrations and giving each character lively action performances. The story is set on the "Fevrith Continent," composed of five nations. Due to a rebellion initiated by General Valmore of the Cornia Kingdom, the nations were swiftly invaded by the New Zenoiran Empire. The protagonist, Alain, became a prince of a fallen kingdom at a young age, diligently studying swordsmanship and military strategy until he was 17. Wielding the legendary "Ring of the Unicorn," he leads the Liberation Army to save the world dominated by the Empire.
・Scarlett

The two characters brought to life in 3D by Kotobukiya are both highly popular female characters in the game who can form a bond with the protagonist Alain. They are Alain's childhood friend and priestess of the Palevian Orthodoxy, Scarlett, and the shamaness leading the elven nation of "Elheim," Eltrinde. From the prototypes, it can be seen that the overall designs faithfully recreate their in-game illustrations.
