Japanese model manufacturer MEGAHOUSE showcased prototypes of new figures under development from its 'ART WORKS MONSTERS', 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE', and 'MEGATOON' series, all based on Yu-Gi-Oh! monster cards, at the 'MegaHobby EXPO 2024 past to the future' held last weekend!
Among MEGAHOUSE's Yu-Gi-Oh! figure lines, the 'ART WORKS MONSTERS' series, known for its highest level of sculpting and paint quality, showcased the popular monster card 'Silent Magician', which boasts both stunning artwork and deck strength. Its overall design is based on the illustration by Japanese artist KOUMASHIRO. Another monster card, 'Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon', used by Seto Kaiba in the theatrical film Yu-Gi-Oh! The Dark Side of Dimensions, also made its debut as a prototype under development.

In contrast to the 'ART WORKS MONSTERS' series, the 'MONSTERS CHRONICLE' series offers more accessible pricing, easier-to-collect sizes, and a wider variety. This time, it featured Jaden Yuki's initial ace monster card 'E・HERO Flame Wingman' from Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, the card spirit 'Yubel' who harbors a twisted possessive love for Jaden Yuki in the same series, and the ace monster card 'Ancient Gear Golem' belonging to the popular character Professor Chronos.

The new series 'MEGATOON', featuring a chibi, cartoon-style design, also showcased two adorable new prototypes: 'The Winged Dragon of Ra' and 'Red-Eyes Black Dragon'.
