Nendoroid Marie from "Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg"

Good Smile Company, the popular Japanese toy company, is set to release a Nendoroid (ねんどろいど) figure of the protagonist alchemist "Marie" (マリー) from "Atelier Marie", the first title in Koei Tecmo's RPG series "Atelier", in April 2025. The figure will be priced at 7,900 JPY.

The first title in the Atelier series, "Atelier Marie: The Alchemist of Salburg" (マリーのアトリエ 〜ザールブルグの錬金術士〜), was originally released in 1997 on the PlayStation console. At the time, the game's translated title was "Alchemist Marie". The premise revolves around the protagonist Marie being on the verge of failing out of school, requiring players to collect materials and use alchemy to create various requested items within a limited timeframe to complete different tasks. A high-definition remake was released in 2023.

This Nendoroid rendition of Marie faithfully recreates her appearance from the game, featuring three interchangeable facial expressions: a smiling face, a winking face, and a troubled face. As for accessories, she comes with the reference book Marie often consults, and a test tube used for experiments. It's a very rich set.
