Prime 1 Studio's Q-version brand "Cutie1 (キューティ１)", which reinterprets various IP characters in a plush toy style, recently announced its latest products from "Berserk": "Skull Knight Comic Cover Color Ver." and "Guts Berserker Armor (Phase 3) Bloody Ver."! They are scheduled for release starting January 2025, with suggested retail prices of 5,830 and 6,160 JPY (tax included) respectively.
The Skull Knight, appearing in a new color scheme this time, maintains the same overall design as the previously released regular version. The cute 2.5-head-tall proportion incorporates the intricate details of the Skull Knight's armor, with a pleasingly rounded head. Turning to the back, one can see the dynamic sculpt of the flowing cape. For the coloring, a greenish silver serves as the main color for the armor, while the original golden button eyes are now rendered in an orange-yellow. The cape's saturation has also been significantly increased, appearing as a brighter brown.
Next is the berserk Guts, clad in his Berserker Armor, with blood splattered across his entire armor and the Dragonslayer sword. Although the overall tone is interpreted in Cutie1's cute style, the helmet still exhibits a powerful visual impact and undeniable sharp lines. The zipper-inspired fangs are extremely striking, and his reddened eyes appear even more dangerous against the backdrop of blood. The bloodstain application, due to the armor's structural design, looks as if it's flowing out from the crevices. Is it the blood of his enemies, or Guts' own body? What's even more amazing is that this armored Guts can lift his visor to reveal the face underneath.
