Bandai Gashapon Division announced the release of a new Gashapon product based on the classic anime "Ojamajo Doremi" – the "Poron Transformation Converter Collection Special Edition 2" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 600 JPY per capsule, and it is expected to be available in late January 2025!
"Ojamajo Doremi" tells the story of witch apprentice Harukaze Doremi, who, along with her witch friends, helps out at the Maho-do and uses magic in her daily life to solve various problems for those around her. With each season's broadcast, the little witches also get new witch outfits, transformation converters, and Porons.
The "Poron Transformation Converter Collection" series transforms various props from the series into Gashapon models. The "Special Edition" recreates Bandai's original "Ojamajo Doremi" merchandise, including its packaging, as miniature models approximately 10-12 cm in size! Following the release of items like the Peperuto Poron and Rhythm Tap in the first wave, this second wave includes four classic items: the Apprentice Tap, Dial-Type Magic Phone, Sweet Poron, and Hana-chan's Magical Compact. The products meticulously reproduce everything from the packaging box to the toy itself, with the internal items presented as three-dimensional models, faithfully recreating the blister packaging. The various prints on the original packaging boxes are also finely reproduced.
