Tunshi Studio, a Chinese toy brand focused on developing anime-style characters and semi-realistic figures, recently announced their latest power armor, the "LV Armor" 1/12 scale articulated vehicle, after releasing several figures based on SNK's shooting video game "Metal Slug 3"! It is expected to ship in Q4 2024, with a suggested retail price of 1,380 RMB.
The LV Armor (pronounced Level Armor) is, in the game's lore, built by the Rebel Army, inspired by the Regular Army's bipedal mech, the Slugnoid. In addition to protecting players from a certain degree of damage, it is also equipped with 200 Heavy Machine Gun rounds and 10 missiles. However, close-quarters combat after running out of ammunition also offers a unique experience. The jetpack mounted on its back allows this armor to perform a double jump in the game, making it a truly classic vehicle.
This LV Armor produced by Tunshi Studio stands approximately 27.5 cm tall and is crafted from composite materials such as PVC, ABS, POM, and alloy. The exterior structure and color scheme of the LV Armor are fully reproduced according to the game's settings, with weathering effects applied to all parts of the mech. Not only can Tunshi Studio's Metal Slug-themed figures be placed inside the cockpit to display various action poses with its articulated mechanisms, but lighting effects also enhance the sense of realism, with both the cockpit and the rear thrusters capable of illumination. Accessories include missile launch flame effects, heavy machine gun bullet firing effects, a total of five types of projectiles, and a display base. All the memories are flooding back!
