Japanese toy company FREEing (株式会社 FREEing) has released a new product in its large-scale character figure "B-style" series, featuring the popular anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a" – the "2B (YoRHa No.2 Type B)" 1/4 scale pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 44,000 JPY, with an estimated release in June 2025!
The TV anime "NieR:Automata Ver1.1a," which began airing in 2023, is produced by A-1 Pictures and is an adaptation of "NieR:Automata," a spin-off from the "Drakengard" series developed by PlatinumGames and published by Square Enix. One of the three main protagonists in the work is YoRHa No.2 Type B (short for 2B), where the 'B' in her name stands for "Battle." She is a YoRHa combat android, possessing silver-white hair like other YoRHa-type androids, a calm and collected personality, exquisite combat skills, and an indomitable will.
This B-style 2B 1/4 scale pre-painted figure stands approximately 44.5 cm tall and captures 2B in a cool, backward-glancing pose. The intricate patterns and flowing dynamics of her lightweight Gothic attire are meticulously sculpted, with the voluptuous curves from her hips extending down to her long boots faithfully recreated. The black stockings visible through the leather boots create a sheer visual effect, and the glossy patent leather finish of the boots makes her legs appear even more slender! Her weapon, Virtuous Contract, is also exquisitely reproduced, with every detail from the hilt to the blade faithfully rendered. The visor appears to be designed as detachable, and her clear eyes and the mole at the corner of her mouth greatly unleash 2B's captivating charm!
