GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted PVC figure series, POP UP PARADE, will release a new product based on the anime "MONSTERS 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation" – the "Ryuma" non-scale pre-painted complete figure. Priced at 4,800 JPY, it is scheduled for release in May 2025!
"MONSTERS 103 Mercies Dragon Damnation" is an anime produced by animation studio E&H production in 2024 and released on the streaming platform Netflix. It is an adaptation of Eiichiro Oda's one-shot manga "MONSTERS," telling the story of Ryuma, the swordsman with the greatest warrior spirit in the world. The story eventually connects to the battle between Zombie Ryuma and Zoro in the Thriller Bark Arc of "One Piece," confirming the direct link between the two works.
This POP UP PARADE Ryuma stands approximately 18.5 cm tall. It captures Ryuma in a standing pose, holding an onigiri (rice ball). The wrinkles and stylistic details of his green and white gradient kimono are faithfully reproduced, and the musculature of his exposed chest, arms, and legs is sculpted with precision. The scabbard of his renowned sword Shusui, resting on his shoulder, and the various patterns on its hilt are also meticulously recreated, all to perfectly capture Ryuma's appearance from the series!
