Japanese capsule toy brand Qualia will release an awesome green army men themed gashapon, the "Sento Green Army" (tentative translation, 銭湯アーミー マスコットフィギュア), in mid-February 2025! The suggested retail price is 200 JPY per turn, with a total of five styles to collect.
Green Army Men, I believe, are a type of toy that many toy enthusiasts can never forget. This includes the Green Army Men toys from "Toy Story", Panda's Ana's "Chubby Green Army Men" and "Green Animal Army Men", T-ARTS' "Toy Story Green Army Men", and Kaiyodo's super fun "Articulated Mini Army" with its movable mechanisms. These are all green army men toys that I personally adore.
This time, Qualia's "Sento Green Army" allows the green army men to truly relax. Their active battlefield is no longer a small tabletop, but rather a steamy public bathhouse~ The green army men in this series are approximately 3.5 to 6 cm tall. In addition to inheriting the classic base-plate design of green army men toys, their poses are quite everyday and adorable. They include slipping accidentally, wiping their bodies with a towel, drinking milk, and more. Each one is very interesting, and combined with the meticulously sculpted muscle lines, the affordable 200 JPY price, and the battle-ready vibe of still wearing their helmets even in the sento, it's truly worth collecting the entire set.
The "Sento Green Army" gashapon has a total of five styles to collect:
1. (Before entering the bath) Rinsing Off / かけ湯
2. Just Finished Bathing / 風呂上がり
3. A Drink After the Bath / 上がりの一杯
4. Washing Body / 体洗い
5. Slipping / 転倒
