Ever seen someone so laser-focused on a task that nothing can break their concentration? The results often leave everyone in awe. And once you see this epic "pixel art ad" and the story behind it, you might just find yourself inspired to hone your own focus!

Japanese confectionery giant Morinaga & Co. kicked off a massive pixel art ad campaign on January 13th across Tokyo, Osaka, and Aichi prefectures. The twist? These aren't your average digital billboards – they're meticulously crafted from individual Ramune candies!
Morinaga & Co. staff and production crew literally got down on their knees, borrowing gymnasiums to painstakingly arrange these pixel masterpieces. It took them a whopping 10 hours to complete four different designs! The entire project was a heartfelt effort to cheer on students taking exams, with the Ramune candies spelling out the encouraging message: "Awaken Your Focus!" (よび覚ませ、集中力。)

So, how many candies did it take? According to Morinaga & Co., a staggering 39,061 Ramune candies were used for this colossal undertaking! They've also dropped a behind-the-scenes video on YouTube, so you can witness the birth of these epic pixel art pieces. As for where to catch these ads, Tokyoites can find them at Tokyu Den-en-toshi Line Shibuya Station B1F A0/A1 Exit Dogenzaka Happy Board A30; in Osaka, they're at Osaka Metro Namba Station Panorama View Set; and in Aichi Prefecture, check out the Nagoya Municipal Subway Nagoya Station Sunflower Board Ad. Better hurry though, they're only up until January 19th!
