Hong Kong's emerging modeling brand GALAXIAS recently unveiled a new product in its "Marvel Desktop Supers" series, which produces exquisite Marvel-themed character figures – the "Iron Man (Classic Version)" 1/8 scale figure. It has a suggested retail price of US$134 and is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2025!
Iron Man first appeared in issue #39 of the comic book "Tales of Suspense" in 1963, co-created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber, Don Heck, and Jack Kirby. In 2008, he became the first comic book character adapted into a live-action film by Marvel Studios, kicking off the legendary Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This Marvel Desktop Supers Iron Man (Classic Version) stands approximately 29.5 cm tall and is crafted in Iron Man's classic comic book appearance, depicting him in a jet-propelled flight pose. The sculpting faithfully recreates the rounded armor details from the comics, and a pearlescent finish combined with glossy paint presents the armor's smooth metallic texture! Visually, the most stunning feature is undoubtedly the voluminous thruster flames and smoke effects, created with gradient translucent materials. The exquisite proportions cleverly support the main body, exuding powerful presence in its airborne flight.
This release also simultaneously features a cool "Iron Man (Stealth Version)" color variant, which looks incredibly cool when displayed side-by-side!
