BANDAI FASHION COLLECTION (Bancolle!), a division of Japan's Bandai that specializes in character-themed apparel and lifestyle goods, previously made waves with its release of the Majin Buu Belt, worn by Majin Buu in Akira Toriyama's classic "Dragon Ball" series.
Today, they've unveiled another fun product: the "Mr. Satan Championship Belt," letting you flaunt the same symbol of victory as the world champion himself! Priced at 19,800 JPY, it's now available for pre-order on Bandai's Premium Bandai website in Japan.
We're sure you all remember Mr. Satan's iconic "Championship Belt." He burst onto the scene as the champion of the "24th World Martial Arts Tournament." During the Cell Games, he famously brandished his championship belt, claiming Goku and the gang's moves were nothing but cheap tricks. After Cell's defeat, Mr. Satan shamelessly took all the credit, subsequently becoming a hero to all Earthlings—except for Goku and his closest friends, of course.
Bandai has recreated the belt buckle with the golden "World Martial Arts Tournament Champion" emblem. Honestly, it's not super complex; if you're crafty enough to make a similar buckle for a cosplay prop, you could probably achieve a similar effect. Your editor here thinks they should've released the entire outfit too, especially since they once offered a full Mr. Satan costume as a prize!
