Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted PVC figure series POP UP PARADE L Size will release a new product based on the popular classic work "K-ON!" — the "Yui Hirasawa L size" non-scale pre-painted complete figure. The suggested retail price is 8,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2025!
Houbunsha's representative work "K-ON!" (けいおん! K-ON!) is a four-panel manga series by Japanese manga artist kakifly. In 2009, Kyoto Animation adapted it into a TV anime. The story begins when protagonist Yui Hirasawa mistakenly interprets "light music" as "easy music" and joins the Light Music Club, depicting the relaxed and fun daily life of Sakuragaoka High School's Light Music Club.
This POP UP PARADE Yui Hirasawa L size stands approximately 22 cm tall. It three-dimensionalizes Yui in her uniform, holding a coffee cup, sculpted in a slightly unsteady, dynamic pose. The wrinkles on her blazer and pleated skirt are delicately rendered. A golden hair accessory adorns her flowing short hair, and her face, characteristic of Kyoto Animation's style, is reproduced with paint, showcasing Yui's somewhat innocent and cute aura!
