Following the previously released "Okarun (Transformation)," the "Figuarts ZERO" character figure series, issued by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collectible toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd., has once again unveiled a new product based on the popular anime and manga series "Dandadan" – the "Momo Ayase" pre-painted figure. It has a suggested retail price of 11,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in July 2025!
To prove to Okarun that aliens don't exist, the protagonist Momo Ayase ventured alone to the Nagi General Hospital, known as a UFO sacred site, where she was attacked by a Serpo alien. In a critical moment, she recalled her grandmother's teachings on controlling her 'ki,' which awakened her psychokinetic abilities, allowing her to perceive and freely manipulate the aura of people, yokai, and objects.
This Figuarts ZERO Momo Ayase stands approximately 16.5 cm tall, bringing to life her appearance while using her psychokinetic powers. The figure captures Momo's dynamic, airborne pose, with sculpted details faithfully reproducing her slender, long legs and meticulously rendering the folds and stylistic details of her pink uniform. The invisible giant hand, which manifests when she activates her psychokinesis, has also been materialized in this piece, using translucent colored material combined with airbrushing to recreate its green appearance from the series. Connected to the rubble-strewn base, it supports the main body, creating a strong sense of dynamism visually and recreating Momo's cool fighting stance!
