Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series POP UP PARADE is releasing a new product based on the popular anime "Dandadan" – the "Momo Ayase" non-scale pre-painted figure. The suggested retail price is 5,500 JPY, with an estimated release in September 2025!
"Dandadan" is a shonen manga by Japanese manga artist Yukinobu Tatsu, serialized on Shueisha's "Shonen Jump+" starting in 2021. In 2024, it was adapted into a TV anime by Science SARU. The story follows Momo Ayase, a protagonist who firmly believes in supernatural phenomena but not aliens, and Ken Takakura, a male protagonist who believes in aliens but not supernatural phenomena. To prove their beliefs to each other, they each venture to designated spooky locations, only to both make surprising discoveries, embarking on an extraordinary life filled with various occult and supernatural events.
This POP UP PARADE Momo Ayase figure stands approximately 17 cm tall, bringing to life Momo's appearance from episode 11 of the anime, where she wears a green hooded jacket. It faithfully recreates her slender, fair legs, and meticulously sculpts details such as her loose socks, pleated skirt, and the wrinkles on her hooded jacket. Her iconic bangs, large green earrings, and the ribbon bow on her chest are also exquisitely reproduced. The overall relaxed standing pose showcases Momo's casual and charming appeal!
