Japanese figure manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY announced that it will be releasing multiple scale figures of popular characters from SQUARE ENIX's popular role-playing game series "FINAL FANTASY". Painted prototypes are scheduled to be first displayed at the "WONDERFUL HOBBY LIFE FOR YOU!! 39" exhibition, held on February 9, 2025.
Currently, GOOD SMILE COMPANY has announced three scale figure products: "FFXV" protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum, "FFXIII" protagonist Lightning, and the striking Viera female Fran from the "FFXII" main cast.
・Lightning
・Noctis
・Fran
In the past, SQUARE ENIX rarely licensed "FINAL FANTASY" character rights to other brands for figure production, and their own character figures were often underwhelming. It wasn't until recent years, with collaborations with PRIME 1 STUDIO and GOOD SMILE COMPANY, that game fans gradually saw opportunities for their beloved characters to be brought to life in ideal forms. Future developments are highly anticipated.
