Japanese gashapon toy brand Qualia is set to release a highly amusing new product—the "Yoisky Mascot Figure" (tentative translation: 酔いスキー マスコットフィギュア) gashapon. The suggested retail price is 500 JPY per capsule, and it is expected to launch in June 2025!
Yoisky (酔いスキー) is conceived by combining the Japanese homophones for "yoi" (drunk/tipsy) and "whiskey" (ウィスキー). It features various whiskey bottles and glasses in a drunken state, including five types: Slightly Tipsy Bottle, Heavily Drunk Bottle, Completely Wasted Bottle, Heavily Drunk Glass, and Completely Wasted Glass! The product utilizes transparent material to create the glass texture and orange-yellow translucent plastic to replicate the whiskey's color. The bottles feature a "YOISKY" label with the Romanized spelling of Yoisky on their bodies, while the glasses contain ice balls to enhance the whiskey's visual appeal. They are designed with adorable hands and feet, striking interesting poses such as gently leaning back, bending forward, or collapsing to the ground, depending on their level of intoxication.
