Japanese model manufacturer Kotobukiya (KOTOBUKIYA) has announced the latest product from Vanillaware's fantasy strategy RPG "Unicorn Overlord," the "Scarlett 1/7 Scale Figure," slated for release in October 2025.
"Unicorn Overlord" continues Vanillaware's exceptionally excellent 2D art design, building a fantastical world with stunning high-resolution illustrations and giving each character vibrant action sequences. The story is set on the "Fevrith Continent," composed of five nations. Due to General Valmore of the Cornia Kingdom initiating a rebellion, the nations were swiftly invaded by the New Zenoiran Empire. The protagonist, Alain, became a prince of a fallen kingdom in his youth, diligently studying swordsmanship and military strategy until the age of 17, when he took up the legendary "Ring of the Unicorn" and led the Liberation Army to save the world dominated by the Empire.
The figure of Scarlett, brought to life this time, is the protagonist's beautiful childhood friend and also serves as a priestess of the Palevian Orthodoxy. The figure faithfully recreates her game illustration, showcasing Scarlett's graceful curves and adorable suspender puff dress at an approximate height of 24 cm, with her spiraling curly hair delicately sculpted to convey a light, dynamic feel.
The weighty metallic gauntlets, the dynamic movement of the longsword pendant, and the metallic scepter in her hand are all finished with rich metallic paint, presenting Scarlett's strong yet beautiful demeanor. The base features a cracked stone pavement, not only with aged color application but also with weeds growing in the crevices, depicting a town in the game world that has endured numerous conflicts.
