World-renowned collectible toy brand Hot Toys' new sub-brand HONŌ STUDIO, which gathers many excellent designers globally, has announced another new product from the Star Wars spin-off animated series "Star Wars: Rebels" – the "Stormtrooper Squad Leader (Animation Version)" 1/6 scale collectible action figure, in addition to the "Stormtrooper (Animation Version)". The suggested retail price is HKD 1,080, with an estimated release between Q4 2025 and Q1 2026!
Commonly known as "White Troopers," the "Imperial Stormtroopers" are another iconic character in the Star Wars series, besides Darth Vader. According to old Obi-Wan, Stormtroopers' aim is "remarkably precise." The Stormtroopers' ranks are separate from the system of officers in uniforms, distinguished by the color of the pauldron on their right shoulder, from highest to lowest: black, white, and orange.
This HONŌ STUDIO Imperial Stormtrooper Squad Leader stands approximately 28.5 cm tall and features his appearance from "Star Wars: Rebels." It appears to be a modified version based on the concurrently released Stormtrooper, boasting 30 points of articulation throughout the body. The waist and feet are crafted from soft materials, allowing for a wider range of dynamic poses. A new orange pauldron, made from composite materials and symbolizing a Squad Leader, has been added to his right shoulder, complete with a printed recreation of the Imperial Seventh Fleet insignia!
Accessories include multiple interchangeable hand parts and a blaster rifle, providing powerful firepower distinct from regular Stormtroopers. If you have the budget, you can purchase multiple Stormtroopers to pair with the Squad Leader to create a scene of a squad on a mission! The base also inherits the signature feature of the HONŌ STUDIO series, coming with a display stand for collectible comics. If you collect Star Wars-themed comics, you can display them together, creating the impression of the character stepping out of the comic!
