Issued by BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Bandai Co., Ltd., the Shokugan series "YUDO", based on the tokusatsu series "Super Sentai", has announced the latest product "Number One Sentai Gojujer YUDO", from the 50th-anniversary commemorative work of the Super Sentai series, "Number One Sentai Gojujer", scheduled for release in July 2025.
In the world of "Number One Sentai Gojujer", a Great Space War once occurred where successive Super Sentai robots fought desperately. After its victory, "Gigant Tygasword" fell into slumber, and its power scattered into "Sentai Rings". Obtaining all the rings grants any wish. Five socially ostracized individuals acquired some of these rings and became "Number One Sentai Gojujer". They must not only engage in a "Ring Scramble" with past Sentai teams but also confront the evil army "Bridan" from another world.
"Number One Sentai Gojujer YUDO" features five warriors: Goju Wolf, Goju Lion, Goju Tyranno, Goju Hawk, and Goju Unicorn. By collecting the upper body + lower body parts, a complete character can be assembled. Each Gojujer boasts precise sculpting and colors reproduced with molded plastic and stickers, featuring approximately 20 points of articulation within their approximately 10 cm height.
Regarding accessories, each Gojujer comes with their morpher "Tygasword" and their respective dedicated weapons such as the Lion Gun 50, Tyranno Hammer 50, Hawk Bow 50, and Unicorn Drill 50, allowing for various Sentai poses with the flexible articulated joints. Additionally, the product includes two sets of unrevealed parts, which are very likely for a 6th additional warrior expected to appear in the future.
