Japan's Megahouse toy company, under its high-quality figure series "G.E.M." which brings anime and manga characters to life, will release its latest product based on the classic anime "Gintama": "Gin-san in the Palm of Your Hand". The suggested retail price is 8,250 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in July 2025!
The man named Sakata Gintoki, once active in the Joui War, a "White Demon" who dominated battlefields, striking fear into hearts with his formidable swordsmanship and surprise attacks—now runs the "Yorozuya," a business that helps with anything, alongside Glasses (Shinpachi), Kagura, and Sadaharu. He has become an old man (actual age 27 → 29) who gets irritable without sweets, constantly has lazy dead fish eyes, and enjoys picking his nose.
The "G.E.M. Gin-san in the Palm of Your Hand" transforms Gin-san into a palm-sized figure, measuring only about 9 cm, yet the sculpting is meticulously detailed! It faithfully recreates his appearance with his hands tucked inside his white-based, blue-flowered kimono, with the inner black attire partially exposed. The low V-neck reveals his well-defined chest muscles, and the lines of his back muscles are also very captivating. His relaxed sitting pose and slightly mischievous smile perfectly capture Gin-san's style. The glossy finish of his long boots and the gradient painting of his hair are also incredibly detailed.
