The assembly model "MODEROID" series, launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, has announced its latest product, "SIDE:GR Arklaud," from modeler NAOKI's original robot model project "Titanomachia," slated for release in November 2025.
"Titanomachia" is an original robot model project where modeler NAOKI serves as the original creator, planner, world-setting designer, mechanical/character designer, and overall producer. Centered around the small general-purpose machine "REAPER" and the large humanoid machine "GRIMREAPER," it constructs a chaotic era where, after Earth experienced a large-scale disaster from meteor showers, surface power and resources were redistributed, leading to the revival and rise of various factions.
This product renders the α-class GRIMREAPER "Arklaud" from the Feyetoll Empire Emperor's Direct Knight Order "13 Blades" into a 1/48 scale model. The kit is composed of multiple pre-colored parts, and once assembled, stands approximately 19.5 cm tall. It faithfully reproduces its sharp armor design, slender physique, and high-density details. All joints throughout the body feature flexible articulation, allowing for dynamic and cool combat poses.
Accessories include various interchangeable hand parts, as well as standing and sitting pilot figures in the same scale as the unit. The cockpit on the unit's back can be opened to place the pilot figure inside. For weaponry, it comes with the greatsword "Ascalon" and the variable-speed energy aggregation rifle "Greif Schnabel." The greatsword can be attached to the left and right sides of the back thrusters using interchangeable parts, while the rifle can reproduce its rapid-fire mode with interchangeable parts.
