Produced by Japan's PLEX company and distributed by X-PLUS company, the popular soft vinyl figure 'DEFOREAL' series, which incorporates intricate realistic details into cute chibi proportions, has unveiled the prototypes for two new figures from 'Digimon Virtual Pet COLOR Godzilla 70th Edition': 'SkullGreymon: G-Infested Mode' and 'Machinedramon: Type-3 (Kai) Mode'. Release dates are yet to be determined.
Scheduled for release in August 2025, the 'Digimon Virtual Pet COLOR Godzilla 70th Edition' is a collaborative product launched to commemorate Godzilla's 70th anniversary, partnering with Digimon. The game software will feature dozens of classic Toho monsters from the Godzilla series. When players raise Koromon, they will have the chance to evolve it into original collaborative Digimon such as 'MetalGreymon: G-Infested Mode', 'WarGreymon: G-Infested Mode', and more.
In addition to the currently available for pre-order 'MetalGreymon: G-Infested Mode', the other two original collaborative Digimon set to appear in the game, 'SkullGreymon: G-Infested Mode' and 'Machinedramon: Type-3 (Kai) Mode', are also being planned for commercialization. From the currently revealed prototypes, it can be seen that both Digimon utilize the characteristic chibi proportions of the 'DEFOREAL' series and highly biological, realistic details to recreate their asymmetrical designs, faithfully reproducing SkullGreymon's right half fused with Godzilla and Machinedramon fused with Kiryu (Type-3 Mechagodzilla).
