BANDAI SPIRITS' Tamashii Nations collectors division, known for its S.H.Figuarts action figure brand, has officially announced a highly anticipated new release under its "CineToy TAMASHII" series, which focuses on film and television properties. Fans can look forward to the General Grievous action figure from "Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith," priced at 18,150 JPY and scheduled for release in November 2025!
General Grievous, the formidable commander of the Separatist Droid Army, is a prominent antagonist in the prequel trilogy and the animated series "Star Wars: The Clone Wars." This cyborg general possesses a biological brain and organs housed within a mechanical body, covered in distinctive white armor. His unique ability to split his arms into four allows him to wield multiple lightsabers simultaneously. Grievous is infamous for collecting the lightsabers of the Jedi he defeats, and his lightsaber combat skills were personally taught by Count Dooku. His unforgettable duel with Obi-Wan Kenobi in Episode III remains a classic scene for fans.
The S.H.Figuarts General Grievous stands approximately 19 cm tall and is meticulously sculpted to faithfully recreate his iconic appearance from "Revenge of the Sith." His slender physique and the intricate mechanical details of his white armor are exquisitely reproduced, complete with realistic battle damage and scratches on his helmet and body. The figure's fabric cape is wired at the edges, allowing for dynamic posing and flowing effects.
The arms can be swapped using interchangeable parts to switch between his combined two-arm and split four-arm configurations, perfectly capturing his iconic four-lightsaber combat stance. Boasting high articulation, the figure can be displayed with a dedicated stand for various dynamic poses. Fans can also display him alongside the S.H.Figuiguarts Obi-Wan Kenobi (Classic Version), set to release in September, to recreate their classic duel on Utapau!
