Japanese toy manufacturer BRIGHT LINK (Bright Link Co., Ltd.) is releasing a rather interesting gashapon product – the "Angel and Devil's Whisper Earplugs" gashapon. The suggested retail price is 300 JPY per capsule, and it is scheduled to launch in July 2025!
In Christianity, the images of angels symbolizing good and morality, and devils symbolizing temptation and evil, have gradually been concretized in Western literature over time. In 19th to 20th-century literature and comics, this metaphor further evolved into scenes where an angel and a devil stand on either side of a character, offering persuasion! This "Angel and Devil's Whisper Earplugs" gashapon materializes this very symbolism, transforming the angel and devil figures into mini models approximately 4.5 cm tall. The collection features six styles: Regular Angel, Pink Angel, Gold Angel, Red Devil, Purple Devil, and Black Devil. Each figure holds an earplug, which can be inserted into the ears of toy enthusiasts to depict them whispering, vividly illustrating the predicament of a moral dilemma!
