Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted PVC figure series, POP UP PARADE L Size, has unveiled the gray prototype of a new product based on the classic popular anime "Cardcaptor Sakura" – "Sakura Kinomoto Black Cat Battle Costume Ver. L size"! Pre-orders are set to open in May 2025!
The Black Cat Battle Costume is the outfit Tomoyo created for Sakura in episode 8 of the first season, when Syaoran first appeared and Sakura was capturing the "Thunder" card. The entire costume is made of non-conductive materials like rubber to prevent Sakura from getting electrocuted. It's a highly popular battle costume design among fans! As for why it's a cat design? Tomoyo unhesitatingly stated, "Because it's cute!"
From the currently revealed gray prototype, one can see the finely sculpted details of the Black Cat Battle Costume's puffy skirt, along with a lively, dynamic pose.
