Released by the HOBBY Division of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. Japan, the ultimate Gunpla series that brings together the latest technological advancements, "PUG (PERFECT GRADE UNLEASHED)", after last month's surprise announcement of its latest product in 5 years, the "RX-93 ν Gundam", today also announced that product information will be revealed in May 2025.
The RX-93 ν Gundam, announced for production this time, is a mobile suit designed with the participation of Earth Federation Forces Newtype ace pilot Amuro Ray. It confronted Char in the Second Neo Zeon War in UC 0093. This mobile suit returned to the original design philosophy of simplicity, versatility, and durability. Micro-thrusters were installed throughout its body, and it also incorporated "Psycho-Frame" technology and was equipped with "Fin Funnels" capable of all-range attacks, significantly enhancing the mobile suit's structural strength, mobility, and Amuro's Newtype abilities.
In the promotional video officially released this time, several ν Gundam model products previously released by Bandai appeared. The "PG UNLEASHED 1/60 RX-93 ν Gundam" is positioned as the culmination of Gunpla products for its 45th anniversary, challenging to be the pinnacle of ν Gundam products in history with the latest technology, and finally, it offered a sneak peek at the head sculpt of this PUG version.

Looking back at the first product released in 2020, the "RX-78-2 Gundam", it brought together new technologies attempted at the time, such as "articulation," "transformation," "easy assembly," "lighting mechanisms," and "extreme precision reproduction." It broke existing perceptions of Gunpla, utilizing a large number of new designs to present the most precise Gunpla product in history. It also used a large amount of materials like metallic molded parts, plated parts, and metal-processed trusses to express its multi-layered structure.
The second product, the "RX-93 ν Gundam", is Amuro Ray's final mobile suit from "Mobile Suit Gundam: Char's Counterattack". Compared to the original "RX-78-2 Gundam", it carries the meaning of legacy, continuation, and evolution. It makes one even more eager to see what new technologies Bandai will infuse into this large mobile suit to interpret its intricate internal frame, signature armament "Fin Funnels," and other cool designs.
