Today (10th) morning, TAMASHII NATIONS, the Collectors Division of BANDAI SPIRITS Co., Ltd. in Japan, unveiled a teaser image for a new series under its action figure brand S.H.Figuarts on its official Instagram account. Seeing that familiar "Gogogogo" onomatopoeia, we know that products from the "JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" series are about to arrive!
"JoJo's Bizarre Adventure" is a manga series created by the genius mangaka Hirohiko Araki. From 1987 to 2004, Parts 1 to 6 were serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump," and after 2005, it moved to the seinen manga magazine "Ultra Jump." It tells the story of the love-hate entanglement across time and bloodlines between the British noble Joestar family (JoJo) and the vampire DIO. Its strong art style and narrative have created JoJo's unique aesthetics and culture, influencing various fields such as design and fashion on multiple levels. Araki-sensei even personally drew promotional posters and visuals for world-class events like the 2020 Paralympics! And now, JoJo is about to join the popular S.H.Figuarts series. Although it's not yet confirmed which part's theme products will be released first, the anticipation is already incredibly high!
