BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced the latest product from the 'GUNDAM UNIVERSE' series, a 6-inch articulated finished product designed for Gundam fans worldwide. This new item, "GF13-017NJII God Gundam (RENEWAL)", from "Mobile Fighter G Gundam", is scheduled for release in October 2025.
The 'GUNDAM UNIVERSE' series, which has been progressively released since 2019, consists of 6-inch tall finished articulated Gundam models. The mobile suit designs feature many differences from the original works, giving the armor lines a sharp, robust, and more three-dimensional appearance from any angle. The multi-joint designs are quite sturdy and suitable for play. While the toys are durable, they have had drawbacks such as some overly bold styling and lower-than-expected articulation. Now, Bandai has finally launched improved new products, re-releasing previously featured mobile suits with new articulated frames and new sculpts.

The "GUNDAM UNIVERSE GF13-017NJII God Gundam (RENEWAL)" has been re-sculpted with new designs, utilizing numerous panel lines and undulating forms that differ from the original, giving the exterior armor high-density detailed styling and contours reminiscent of human musculature. The articulated sections adopt the newly developed "UNIVERSAL REACTION FRAME", expanding the range of motion for the torso and limb joints.
Compared to the somewhat awkward poses of the old version, the new version can achieve cooler, more show-accurate poses. Coupled with various interchangeable hand parts and two beam swords, it can recreate stances for techniques such as "Bakunetsu God Finger", "Sekiha Tenkyoken", and "God Slash"!
