Bandai Spirits, a Japanese toy company, has announced the second wave of its new robot-themed model toy series, "BLOCKCROSS," from the Mashin Hero Wataru series, scheduled for release on July 26, 2025.
"BLOCKCROSS" consists of a common "BLOCK Frame" combined with "CROSS Parts" that recreate the image of each machine. Assembly is simple, like a model kit, requiring no glue or other tools. Through the "CROSS BUILD" play style, where parts from different machines can be freely combined, you can unleash your creativity to build your original machine. Furthermore, the "BLOCK Frame" offers versatility in customization and expansion, allowing for multiple frames to be used to change forms, creating tall frames, short frames, quadrupedal frames, and many other play possibilities!
The second wave of the Mashin Hero Wataru series will feature four Mashin: "Raishinmaru," "Jyakomaru," "Kouryumaryu," and "Ryujinmaru (Mashin Souseiden Wataru)." Each machine comes with its exclusive weapon accessories, allowing for dynamic posing in conjunction with the frame's articulation. Currently, only in-development CG images of each machine have been released, with more detailed product image information to be updated at a later date.
