Japanese model maker Megahouse has for the first time revealed painted samples of two new products from the "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX" series, "Amate Yuzuriha (Machu)" and "Nyaan", from their palm-sized deformed figure series "LOOKUP". Pre-orders are set to open in early May 2025.
The "LOOKUP" finished figure series features chibi sitting poses and a charming palm-sized form. As the series name suggests, they are crafted with soft, adorable faces and an upward gaze, making the characters appear like small animals such as hamsters sitting in your palm, constantly looking up at you with their innocent, large eyes. Whether human or fantasy creature, they are irresistibly cute and can be placed on your desk or office table to provide constant comfort and healing.
The currently revealed painted samples of "Amate Yuzuriha (Machu)" and "Nyaan" show both characters in cute sitting poses, based on their initial uniform appearances in the series. Despite their small palm-sized form, details like hair highlights and gradients, as well as the rich colors of their outfits, are faithfully reproduced. Pattern printing is also utilized to recreate their charming, individual smiles.
In addition to Machu and Nyaan from the first wave, Megahouse has also previously announced that they will successively release in the future "Amate Yuzuriha (Machu) Pilot Suit ver.", "Shuji Ito", "Char Aznable", "Chalia Bull", and other characters from "Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX".
