Bandai's GASHAPON capsule toy division has unveiled a new product line based on the classic popular anime "Cardcaptor Sakura" – the "Release! Lipstick Case Collection" Gashapon. The suggested retail price is 600 JPY per turn, with an anticipated release in late August 2025!
"Cardcaptor Sakura" tells the story of the protagonist, Sakura Kinomoto, who becomes a Cardcaptor to prevent the Clow Cards from wreaking havoc and attempts to retrieve all of them. As the story progresses, Sakura's magic wands and card sets also grow and change, with various toys being released alongside each new anime season!
This "Release! Lipstick Case Collection" transforms the three magic wands used by Sakura in the Clow Card Arc, Sakura Card Arc, and Clear Card Arc – the Sealing Wand, Star Wand, and Dream Wand – into lipstick cases approximately 15 cm tall. The original pink wand bodies have been thickened, and the bird head, star shape, and dreamcatcher at the top are sculpted to faithfully recreate their appearance. They are finished with metallic molded colors to capture their in-show texture, making every touch-up magical! Even if not used as lipstick cases, they are incredibly cute when displayed as a complete collection!
