The villainous organization "Akatsuki" will assemble under Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's prize toy brand BANPRESTO! Based on "Naruto Shippuden," they will appear consecutively over three months in the EFFECTREME series and VIBRATION STARS series. The first to appear is the "EFFECTREME-Deidara-" character figure, scheduled for release in May 2025.
Deidara is the youngest member of the "Akatsuki" organization, wearing a "Blue" (青) ring on his right index finger, symbolizing the "Azure Dragon." Originally a clay sculptor from the Hidden Stone Village in the Land of Earth, he delved into the forbidden jutsu of "imbuing matter with chakra" in pursuit of a deeper art, becoming obsessed with explosive art. After joining Akatsuki, he formed a two-person team with Sasori, but his dedication to the artistic philosophy of "the beauty of a single moment" often led to conflicts with Sasori, whose artistic views differed.
The BANPRESTO prize figure "EFFECTREME-Deidara-" stands approximately 18 cm tall. It captures Deidara's explosive art with a dynamic pose and magnificent effect parts! He wears the essential Akatsuki haori, with the hem of his robe fluttering with his movement. His face features a wild, tongue-out grin, and he strikes his signature pose with his arms crossed over his chest. The tongues emerging from his palms are also intricately sculpted.
