Bandai Namco Toys & Hobby's Gashapon brand in Japan has announced that the second wave of its new 'Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE INDEX' gashapon series is currently under development. They have also released silhouettes of the four Mobile Suits that will be included in the lineup. Release date is yet to be determined.
'Mobile Suit Gundam CAPSULE INDEX' is a series of non-articulated gashapon toys crafted in an SD Gundam proportion of approximately 2.5 head-tall. Through dynamic poses, various armaments, or effect parts, these approximately 5 cm figures capture the distinctive combat styles and scenes of Mobile Suits, all while featuring rich color applications.
Following the first wave, which featured Mighty Strike Freedom Gundam, Z'Gok (Gundam SEED FREEDOM Ver.), Black Knight Squad Cal-re.A, and GQuuuuuuX, the second wave will continue to bring four Mobile Suits: Gundam Aerial, Infinite Justice Gundam Type-II, Black Knight Squad Ruin, and Red Gundam. From the currently revealed silhouettes, it can be seen that each unit will be sculpted with its signature armaments and dynamic combat poses.
