The renowned tabletop wargame Warhammer 40,000, from the UK-based miniatures company Games Workshop, is releasing a brand-new range of models. This time, the updated faction is the Emperor's Children, featuring all-new miniatures and tabletop wargaming rules, available now.
Warhammer 40,000 is a grand-scale tabletop wargame where players can collect, assemble, and paint their own miniatures, organizing them into armies to battle against other players.
Ten thousand years ago, the Space Marine Legions carved a path through the galaxy, reclaiming lost worlds for humanity, led by the Emperor's gene-forged sons: the Primarchs. None of these Primarchs was as proud as Fulgrim. When the insidious forces of corruption stealthily lured half of humanity's elite into the clutches of Chaos, his warriors joyfully indulged in the decadent path of serving the Dark God Slaanesh.
They are the Emperor's Children, a host of extraordinary warriors in pursuit of ultimate luxury and indulgence. Some among them crave total mastery on the battlefield, while others constantly devise novel ways to inflict the most extreme sensations upon themselves and their prey, a malevolence matched only by the most devout servants of the dark powers. If you plan to build an army of these ultimate hedonists, here is everything you need to know.

The Daemon Primarch and His Champions
【Emperor's Children: Fulgrim】
The Daemon Primarch of Slaanesh was once the noble leader of the Emperor's Children, now fallen into his current grotesque form. The Emperor's Children Legion once won the favor of the Emperor himself; however, this is ancient history, and now only depravity and pain remain.
As the proudest of his brothers, Fulgrim's choice to join Warmaster Horus and deeply embrace the promise of power from the Dark Gods was perhaps inevitable. Fulgrim was already a highly skilled duelist and a talented warrior. His loyalty to Slaanesh was rewarded, granting him a four-armed, serpentine form and power that transcends mortality.
Fulgrim represents the fall and corruption that has consumed his once-noble Legion. His sinful, serpentine form towers over the battlefield, moving with lightning speed, using his lash and tail to strike down enemies mesmerized by his magnificent presence. Any warrior who can resist the Daemon Primarch's beguiling aura is swiftly cut down.
【Emperor's Children: Lucius the Eternal】
Lucius is a vainglorious slayer and a supreme master swordsman who seeks out the most powerful enemy champions on the battlefield, effortlessly dispatching any lesser foes who stand in his way. When faced with an opponent of equal skill, Lucius attacks with serpentine speed, his daemonic lash and sword taunting his formidable enemies.
【Emperor's Children: Lord of Ecstasy】
The Lord of Ecstasy fully embodies the Emperor's Children's obsession with experiencing new and terrible sensations. Their bodies are augmented with a variety of sensory enhancements, allowing them to further experience the sensations of war—sensations that would drive any mortal insane. The Lord of Ecstasy leads his warriors from the front lines, using his lash and pistol to kill enemies in gruesome fashion.
【Emperor's Children: Lord of Noise】
The Lord of Noise derives pleasure from auditory stimulation. Their focused obsession with unleashing deadly sonic waves has led them to undergo painful modifications to their entire bodies, further enhancing their abilities. These conductors of nightmares lead squads of Noise Marines, orchestrating a discordant symphony of deafening slaughter.
The Chosen of Slaanesh
【Emperor's Children: Flawless Blades】
These cruel and arrogant warriors revel in their exceptional swordsmanship. Augmented by daemonic power, the Flawless Blades are obsessed with pleasing their malevolent master, using their extraordinary skills to grant their enemies a terrifying and bloody death.
【Emperor's Children: Noise Marines】
Noise Marines unleash shrieking, cacophonous noise, devastating shockwaves, and other extreme sonic attacks, causing widespread chaos and destruction on the battlefield. These followers of Slaanesh have grown accustomed to most forms of stimulation and seek to please their numbed senses with the loudest sounds of destruction.
【Emperor's Children: Tormentors】
Clad in dazzling power armour and wielding excessively decorated bolters, the Tormentors form the core of many Emperor's Children warbands. Consumed by arrogance and desire, these warriors are front-line soldiers who prioritize offense and speed, constantly seeking more intense new experiences and reveling in the pleasure of brutally killing their enemies. This kit can also be assembled as the close-combat specialists, the Transgressors.
Essential for Gaming: The Codex
【Codex: Emperor's Children】
For a long time, the Emperor's Children have been a fractured brotherhood, their very name an insult to their origins. Yet after ten thousand years, these exceptionally skilled warriors have formed various warbands that still plague the galaxy. With every brilliant volley of fire, they loudly proclaim their superiority. With every flash of their blades, they carve their wicked mark. Upon the tattooed flesh of their mortal slaves, the side armour of their battle tanks, and their daemon-controlled war machines, they declare their crazed supremacy.
Available now in Chinese and English. This rulebook contains the background story of the Emperor's Children, unit datasheets, and a model showcase.
