American high-quality collectible brand Premium Collectibles Studio (PCS) has unveiled a new Star Wars-themed creation—the "Emperor Palpatine" 1/3 scale hyperreal collectible statue, with a suggested retail price of US$1,852, and an estimated shipping date in Q4 2025!

The Emperor Palpatine sculpt for this release appears to primarily reference his appearance in Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi. The main body stands approximately 63.5 cm tall, and at this large scale, the exquisite sculpting meticulously recreates actor Ian McDiarmid's disfigured and twisted facial features after special effects makeup, as seen after his battle with Mace Windu. The head sculpt is crafted using silicone molding, combined with superb hair implantation techniques and delicate airbrushing, vividly reproducing the facial characteristics of Darth Sidious from the film!

The costume features composite fabric materials tailored to recreate the Emperor's black robes, presenting rich visual layers through varying shades of black and differences in fabric texture. His emaciated hands emerge from the sleeves, appearing subtly, while the other hand holds a cane to support his body, perfectly capturing his majestic and evil presence!

The base is also full of Easter eggs, featuring unique reliefs on its four sides: the scene from Revenge of the Sith where he announces the pursuit of the Jedi remnants in the Galactic Senate, the final scene with Darth Vader looking at the Death Star under construction, the opening scene of Return of the Jedi with the second Death Star under construction, and the scene where Darth Vader brings Luke before the Emperor. These classic moments can be displayed even more exquisitely by activating the LED light at the top!
