BANDAI SPIRITS' Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, based in Japan, today announced the commercialization of the popular mobile suit "1.5 Gundam" from the official side story of Mobile Suit Gundam 00, joining their popular die-cast toy "METAL BUILD" series. Pre-orders will soon open on BANDAI's official online store, PREMIUM BANDAI.
The CB-001.5 "1.5 Gundam," which first appeared in Mobile Suit Gundam 00I, is a mobile suit repaired and enhanced from the "1 Gundam," the Innovator-exclusive successor to the 0 Gundam. Its overall performance has been enhanced by 1.5 times compared to its predecessor, and it is also equipped with a back binder designed similarly to the "Alvaaron." Through the transformation of the binder, it can switch between various functions such as Flight Mode, High-Speed Flight Mode, Standby Mode, Attack Mode, and Defense Mode. It can also perform high-firepower shooting using the Alvaaron Cannons built into the binder.
