BANDAI SPIRITS' collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, is releasing a new product under its S.H.Figuarts action figure brand from the "Kamen Rider Saber" series—the "Kamen Rider Durendal Ocean History Form" action figure. It will have a suggested retail price of 11,000 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2025!
Kamen Rider Durendal first appeared in episode 29. Ocean History is the base form that Ryoaga Shindai transforms into by inserting the Jikokuken Kaiji (時国剣界時) into the Ocean History Wonder Ride Book. In this form, he can freely control moisture in the atmosphere and grants the user memories and power etched by the vast ocean that has endured through eons.
This S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Durendal stands approximately 15 cm tall, faithfully recreating his suit appearance from the show. The entire body features unique metallic blue lines contrasting with matte black, showcasing a high-quality finish. The helmet sculpt is meticulously reproduced, and the compound eyes, "Abyss Goggles," are made with clear parts, enhancing the realistic visual effect!
Accessories include two modes of the weapon Jikokuken Kaiji: the longsword form "Kaiji Sword" and the trident form "Kaiji Spear." The Ocean History Wonder Ride Book can be loaded into either the Kaiji Sword or Kaiji Spear, displaying different usage states. The blade of the Kaiji Sword can even be detached and reinserted in reverse, recreating the appearance when activating Kaiji Erase!
Furthermore, it can be displayed alongside the previously released Kamen Rider Sabela Insect Encyclopedia Form, recreating scenes of the Shindai siblings fighting side-by-side! With Durendal's appearance, the Ten Sword-Wielding Holy Swordsmen are finally complete in the S.H.Figuarts line!
