LEGO has been captivating hearts for nearly 90 years, remaining a beloved pastime for both kids and adults. It's also a fantastic medium for creators to build their favorite characters and designs. We've previously featured the incredible work of Japanese LEGO master Seirei ( @seirei526 ), whose jaw-dropping MOCs of the ν Gundam and Unicorn Gundam left a lasting impression.
Now, Seirei is back with a brand-new creation! This time, he's swapped mobile suits for Orbital Frames, taking on Jehuty, the protagonist mech from Hideo Kojima’s classic KONAMI game, "Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner." His latest LEGO MOC is an absolutely epic head sculpt, showcasing a masterful, imposing structure that sets it apart from his previous works.

"Zone of the Enders: The 2nd Runner" originally launched on the PS2 in 2003, later receiving HD remasters and even a VR version. Players pilot the highly agile Orbital Frame, Jehuty, engaging in high-speed combat across the vastness of space. The game is renowned for its exhilarating aerial battles, dazzling visual effects, and iconic mech designs. With its tight narrative blending themes of war and humanity, it remains a true classic among mech game enthusiasts.

Seirei's decision to tackle something other than Gundam this time around stems from an unexpected connection: his previous works garnered so much attention on social media that he actually got in touch with Hideo Kojima himself! To honor this unique encounter, Seirei chose one of Kojima's creations for his next build. Instead of another massive Gundam, his goal was to meticulously capture Jehuty's distinctive metallic structure and essence, using LEGO bricks to convey that intricate metal texture.

Seirei raves about the official LEGO metallic gold bricks used in this project, calling them "absolutely gorgeous" and "incredibly textured," adding a rich, authentic feel to the build.

The primary focus for this MOC was Jehuty's metallic structure. While it's just a head sculpt, every essential detail, especially the unique head shape and intricate mechanical inner workings, is faithfully recreated with LEGO bricks. Standing at approximately 35 cm tall and weighing around 1 kg, this build is no lightweight!
