From the high-quality collectible toy brand HIYA TOYS from China, their EXQUISITE BASIC series will release a non-scale 13-inch articulated figure of the popular monster "Mecha King Ghidorah" from the classic 1991 film "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah"! The suggested retail price is US$120, with an estimated release in Q2 2026.
Making a powerful debut in the 1991 film "Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah," Mecha King Ghidorah is a semi-mechanical monster created to stop Godzilla from destroying Japan. It was reconstructed using 23rd-century future technology from the severely wounded King Ghidorah after its battle with Godzilla. Its lost head was repaired with machinery, and mechanical implants were also integrated into its body and wings. Its chest is equipped with high-voltage electric capture claws and chains designed to restrain Godzilla. Piloted by Emmy, it engaged in a final decisive battle with Godzilla in Shinjuku, Tokyo.
The HIYA TOYS "EXQUISITE BASIC Mecha King Ghidorah" non-scale 13-inch articulated figure, standing approximately 33 cm tall, faithfully recreates its cool, semi-mechanical design from the film. The paint application highlights the contrast between its original golden scales and the cold, iron-gray mechanical armor, with shading applied to enhance its realism and three-dimensionality. The heads, equipped with devastating laser cannons, emit a fierce and sharp glow, while the metallic structure of the wings adds to the imposing presence of its outstretched pose! From its organic texture to its complex mechanical structures, every detail has been meticulously sculpted, presenting the overwhelming presence of Mecha King Ghidorah!
