From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's collector's toy division, TAMASHII NATIONS, the robot-themed action figure series "ROBOT SPIRITS" has announced the latest product from the anime "CROSSANGE: Rondo of Angel and Dragon," the "Vilkiss (SUNRISE SPIRITS)", slated for release in July 2025. This product is an exclusive item available only through official direct sales channels (TAMASHII NATIONS STORE / SUNRISE WORLD / TAMASHII SPOT / TAMASHII NATIONS STORE ONLINE).
Vilkiss is the mobile suit piloted by the protagonist, Ange, who was stripped of her princess status and became a lower-class warrior. This unit was originally an old-model Para-mail owned by the anti-dragon organization "Arzenal." Despite its extremely high performance, it was left to rust due to its difficulty in operation. It wasn't until Ange became its pilot that her royal bloodline and royal ring awakened Vilkiss's true power. Vilkiss was originally one of the seven absolute weapons, "Ragna-mail," built 500 years ago. It can switch between different modes by changing its body color and possesses various powerful functions such as dimensional jump, energy greatsword, and convergent spacetime cannon.
The "ROBOT SPIRITS Vilkiss (SUNRISE SPIRITS)" is a renewed release based on the general version launched in 2015. Standing approximately 14 cm tall, it magnificently recreates the cool, free, yet aggressive styling seen in the series. Its distinctive head-mounted angel sculpture and entire golden frame are rendered with metallic paint for a premium texture. Some paint tones and the emblem on the left shoulder have also been updated compared to the previous version.
In its humanoid Destroyer Mode, Vilkiss comes with 3 types of left hands and 2 types of right hands for replacement, along with armaments such as two rifles, the Zero-Type Super Hardness Zanshin Blade, and wrist-mounted freeze bullet launcher effect parts. These can be combined with the flexible articulated joint design to recreate dynamic battle poses. Furthermore, by swapping parts, it can also reproduce its "Flight Mode," and includes a mini-figure of Ange (clear molded color) that can be placed in the cockpit.
